Reiki with Scarf Brushing/Draping

Service Description

In this offering we combine the gentle touch of scarf brushing/draping over the body with the ancient practice of Reiki. We begin with an intake form, if you are a new client. We then have a brief discussion on what has brought you here today, enabling us to set an intention for your session. We begin by activating the magnetics in the body, your meridian focal points on the feet. We then do some gentle tapping to activate the neurolymphatic system (this system removes toxins during your session, so it is important it is open and activated) We then use a weighted low-range ohm tuning fork to identify any blocks and new points of pain, not previously identified during the discussion. Then we gently drape a large scarf from your head to your feet, repeatedly for about 15 mins or so. This is a gentle tactile touch therapy, where the client literally feels their lower energy vibrations being brushed down the body and out the feet. Clients report after only the third sweep down the body, an extremely deep state of relaxation, comfort and peace. This is a very grounding process, eliminating the need to ground the client prior to the reiki session commencing. After 15 mins we will check in to see if you need more, or if you are ok to move onto the reiki component. We then facilitate a 45 - 60 mins Reiki session, depending on your needs as we work through the session. When the Reiki is complete, we sweep your auric field with either a feather or a rattle. We gently wake you up, offer you some water and we debrief your session.
