Service Description

The very first session there is an intake form you are to complete. We also review all the steps in a normal treatment and how the Reiki energy works within your own body. The very first session usually runs 2 hours on account of the form & introduction. We start by grounding you at your feet, tapping to activate meridian points & lymphatic system, use the low range ohm tuning fork for activating chakras and identifying points of pain, then a gentle relaxation walk through before beginning the reiki session. A Reiki treatment is a process whereby energy from the positive charges (universe) and negative charges (mother earth) that occur naturally around us, is channeled to the client. The client's body then receives the energy where it needs it the most, for the client's greatest and highest good. It is an experience that is different for everyone. Some see lights, like the aura borealis. Some feel zaps of electricity coming out of different areas. Some feel energy moving either slowly like molasses or quickly like shots of energy. Some experience heat from the practitioner or from the energy movement itself; while others get the chills during different parts of the treatment. Some don't feel anything at all. Some sleep, some don't. It is different for everyone, depending on what their body needs to process.
